Custom domain not validating
Fix DNS and verification issues for custom domains.
If verification fails, check the following:
www.example.com
CNAME matches
Verifiedexample.com vs www
Hostname mismatch
FailedHostname mismatch
The hostname in Bopbee must exactly match your DNS record, including www vs bare domain.
DNS propagation
your-registrar.com → DNS settings
TypeNameValue
CNAMEwwwcname.bopbee.app
Copy the exact records shown in your Bopbee project settings.
Wait at least 15 minutes after creating records. Use a DNS checker tool to confirm records are visible globally.
Wrong environment
Make sure the domain is assigned to the correct environment in project settings.
Still stuck?
Remove the domain, re-add it, and copy the DNS instructions again. Contact support via chat if the records are correct but verification keeps failing.
